The Pharmtec Group provides Spectroscopy and Automated Solutions primarily to the pharmaceutical market for use in dissolution testing.

The flagship product of the group is the OPT-DISSTM Fiber Optic UV. The OPT-DISS™ is a multi-channel fiber optic UV spectrometer used to automate up to two dissolution systems. The main accessory for the OPT-DISS™ is the ARCH™ Probe. The ARCH™ has been created specifically to work in the dissolution vessel and its environment. The ARCH™ eliminates the concerns of particulate build up associated with “Dip Probes”.

The Stent-PAL is a LEAP Workstation providing a solution to sample prep and testing for the medical device industry. The Stent-PAL incorporates the PAL and a robotic shaker. The system conducts a full dissolution method from media addition to sample collection. The samples can then be read at anytime by HPLC, using the PAL to inject.
